I just received my advance copy of my most recent children’s picture book written by the super funny, Joan Holub. The book is irreverent twists on classic fairy tales featuring all the familiar characters. There is a lot of hand lettering, title banners, and filigree in this book, which was fun and challenging to create. Joan’s funny jokes and details really made my job easy.

Chronicle Books has posted an animated teaser of the book on their web site. Again, I worked with the amazingly talented, Kirsten Lepore to create the animation. Also posted are a Q & A with Joan, some additional images from the book, and a downloadable Knucklheads book mark.
