pollution

Just finished this piece for Boy’s Life Magazine.  The article is about chemists at the Italian company Italcementi that have created TX Active, a building cement that eats smog. TX Active contains titanium dioxide, which dissolves dust and grime on surfaces. Tests show the cement can also reduce nitrogen oxide—a pollutant made by cars—by 60 percent. Plus, it can clean the air up to eight feet away.

Cementi!

Everything sounds better in Italian.
